we are excited to announce our Ford Hockey School Columbus Day Camp at Highland Park Centennial Ice Rink on Monday, October 14th! This one-day camp is an excellent opportunity for your young athlete to enhance their hockey skills, elevate their hockey IQ, and most importantly, have a lot of fun.
Camp Details:
Date: Monday, October 14th
Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Location: Highland Park Centennial Ice Rink
Daily Schedule:
9:00 am: Drop-off (Please ensure your child is in gear minus skates, helmet, and gloves)
9:15 am: Classroom/video session to review techniques and strategies
9:45 am: Get ready for skating (Staff will assist with tying skates)
10:00 am: On-ice session featuring small group stations for skill development and mini-games (1 HOUR 30 MINS, 2 hours 45 minutes on ice TOTAL)
11:30 pm: Skates off, CLASSROOM, followed by lunch AND LECTURE
1:30 pm: Second on-ice session—small area games and competition (75 MINS)
3:00 pm: Pickup
What Your Child Will Experience:

Off-Ice Training: Activities designed to enhance hockey IQ and overall understanding of the game.

This small group setting clinic offers a unique opportunity for players to receive personalized instruction with a low coach-to-player ratio. Unlike other clinics that focus on simply playing harder, our program emphasizes understanding and applying essential hockey techniques, providing a more comprehensive learning experience.
